Beginners' guidance on choosing and setting up your first arena set. More levels coming soon.

Getting started

Bringing jumping home for the first time.

  1. 01Count the space you have — a small arena or paddock usually suits a compact set of fences.
  2. 02Look for wings, poles and a couple of fillers so you can build verticals and simple grids.
  3. 03Prioritise being able to move and store everything easily on your own.
  4. 04Remember every pack can be expanded later, so start with what you'll use weekly.
  5. 05Message us with your arena size and rider level and we'll advise honestly.

TipPoles on the ground and low cross-poles do most of the schooling work in the first year.

General guidance only. Always school within your own and your horse's ability, on safe going, with FEI-standard safety cups fitted on back rails and a competent person on hand.
